Professor Krystyna Radziszewska from the University of Lodz and Professor Sascha Feuchert from the University of Gießen won the Polish-German Copernicus Award 2022 for their collaboration in the field of Holocaust studies, the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) announced.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Polish universities have accepted 123 students - refugees from Ukraine for studies or continuation of studies, according to the data provided to PAP by Ministry of Education and Science. Nearly 2,800 people expressed interest in being accepted as students.
