Seven Polish universities on Webometrics top 500 list
Seven Polish universities ranked among the top 500 in a Thursday-published Webometrics ranking of 21,000 academic schools worldwide. Highest was Warsaw University (234).
Second was Krakow\'s Jagiellonian University (311) followed by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (393), Wroclaw University of Technology (412), Wroclaw University (431), Warsaw University of Technology (435) and the Mining and Metallurgy Academy in Krakow (488).
Thirteen more Polish schools ranked among the top 1000.
The Webometrics World Academic School Ranking is published twice a year by Madrid-based Supreme Council for Scientific Investigations (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas - CSIC).
