Konrad Adler, Bartosz Biesiadecki and Oliwia Krzemień, and Filip Wylęgała are the winners of three equal first prizes in the Polish edition of the 30th EU Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS). They will represent Poland in the international EUCYS finals in Dublin in September.
The team from the Academic Aviation Club of Poznan University of Technology won three gold medals at SAE Aero Design West 2018 in Los Angeles. Wrocław University of Science and Technology students won six medals (5 silver and 1 bronze), and three medals (gold and two bronze) went to the team from Warsaw University of Technology.
Eleven gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal were awarded to Polish scientists and engineers during the 21st Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies ARCHIMEDES 2018. Nearly 700 inventions from 28 countries were presented at the event.
Prof. Tadeusz Wibig, Dr. Andrzej Katunin, Jan Świerkowski, the website "Nauka o klimacie" ("Climate Science"), TV show "Astronarium" and the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences are the winners of Science Populariser 2017 competition organized by PAP - Science in Poland and the Ministry of Science.
