Polish biology institute receives HR Excellence in Research logo

The Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences has been awarded the "HR Excellence in Research" logo by the European Commission.

The Nencki Institute is the first Polish research centre to receive the logo for ensuring good and reliable working conditions to researchers. The Foundation for Polish Science is the first Polish institution granted the right to use the same logo.

There are now 115 research centres in 22 European countries that have been granted the right to use the "HR Excellence in Research" logo.

The "HR Strategy for Researchers" supports research institutions and funding organisations in the implementation of the Charter & Code in their policies and practices. The logo "HR Excellence in Research" is awarded to these institutions and organisations which have been acknowledged by the European Commission for having made significant progress in implementing the Charter & Code.
