Kozminski University and the Warsaw School of Economics (WSE) have been included in the European Business School Rankings 2019 published by the Financial Times.

Warsaw’s private Kozminski University came in at 48th, ahead of the Czech University of Economics in Prague (56th), Saint Petersburg University (59th), Hungarian Corvinus University (87th) and the University of Ljubljana (89th).

In the strategic alliance with the world`s oldest business school ESCP Europe, Kozminski University is ranked 14th.

Meanwhile, the Warsaw School of Economics took 69th place, up from its previous position of 71st in the ranking which features 100 business schools from across Europe.

According to the Warsaw School of Economics, the school achieved the highest pay increase of graduates in the entire ranking (122 percent).

French HEC Paris topped the ranking, followed by London Business School. Third place went to Italian business school SDA Bocconi/Universita Bocconi.

Rector of Kozminski University, Professor Witold T. Bielecki, said: "We owe our high place in the FT business schools ranking to our MBA graduates, of whom there are already 5,000. This year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Executive MBA programme.”

Quoted in the school’s press release, he added that many students continue their education at this university`s doctoral and specialist post-graduate studies.

The FT European Business School Rankings is a composite ranking based on the combined performance of Europe’s leading schools across the main rankings of programmes published earlier by the FT: MBA, executive MBA, Masters in Management (MiM) and Executive Education. It is based on data on universities from anonymous surveys completed by graduates three years after graduation. Some criteria concern general study conditions.

The ranking is available on the website.
