Students from any course of study interested in internet marketing can attend dr. Czart’s classes.

Given since 2008, dr. Czart’s course was one of the first regular academic internet marketing courses in the world. He also gives invited lectures on internet marketing at renowned universities in Europe. Since 2013, dr. Wojciech Czart is a member of The Global Academic Panel, a team of scholars from all over the world who manage academic aspects of the Google Online Marketing Challenge, and this year he was invited to the jury of the “Collegiate ECHO Marketing Challenge”.

High in the GOMC 2016 ranking in the “Strong” category, the category following the “Finalists” and “Semi-Finalists”, were classified four teams supervised by dr. Tymoteusz Doligalski from the Warsaw School of Economics and other two AMU Poznań student teams -informed PAP dr. Czart.

So far, SGH students supervised by dr. Tymoteusz Doligalski, in the years 2012 and 2014, were global winners and in the three earlier editions SGH teams took first place in Europe. In the early years of GOMC, student teams from Warsaw School of Economics participated in the competition outside the curriculum. Since 2014, GOMC project is a part of the new e-Business master’s course. The course teaches designing e-business ventures, particularly in terms of business model and strategy aimed at the development of relationships with customers.

Google Online Marketing Challenge is one of the most prestigious and widely recognized international marketing competitions organized for the academic community. Using Google AdWords online campaign management system, each student team taking part in the GOMC prepares and runs a three-week long promotional campaign for a selected company or organization. A key Challenge’s goal is to give students practical, hands-on online advertising experience. Students compete not only with their peers from all over the world but also, what is crucial, with marketing teams of companies and organizations competing on the real market. Over 100,000 students and professors from almost 100 countries have participated in the past 8 years.
