Four best foreign students in Poland selected
Colett Neumann from Germany, Alona Nad from Ukraine, Hon Hong Huat from Malaysia and Abnoos Moslehi from Iran are the winners of the third edition of the Interstudent 2012 competition for the best foreign students in Poland.
The results of the competition were announced at a national conference on foreign students in Poland in Warsaw on Thursday.
To take part in the competition, the students had to have good academic record and be active members of the student community. There were 55 contenders.
Warsaw University Vice-Rector Professor Marta Kicinska-Habior said that Poland should establish an agency to co-finance the education of foreign students in Poland.
Deputy Education Minister Daria Lipinska-Nalecz stressed that the academic offer must be created by the universities themselves. "The agency\'s structure and scope of activities must be created through dialogue with the academic community," she added.
