The first Polish scholar in the Princeton University research program LAPA

Prof. Tomasz Koncewicz from the University of Gdańsk will participate in the Princeton University research program - the Program in Law and Public Affairs (LAPA) in the academic year 2017-2018. He is the first scholar from Poland and second from Central and Eastern Europe who has been invited to the program.

Every year, one of the world\'s top universities - Princeton University in the United States - selects scholars of international standing, inviting them to conduct research and participate in the Program in Law and Public Affairs (LAPA). It is one of the most prestigious and reputable interdisciplinary research programs of this type both in the United States and in the world.

Professor Tomasz Tadeusz Koncewicz - Head of the Department of European Law and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk, is the first scholar from Poland and second from Central and Eastern Europe who has been invited to LAPA.

The information that Prof. Tomasz Koncewicz is among the six 2017-2018 LAPA Research Fellows has been announced by Princeton University and Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. During his stay at Princeton University, Professor Koncewicz will carry out the research project concerning the current political situation in Europe "The Politics of Resentment, European Disintegration and Constitutional Capture: Rethinking the European overlapping consensus?".
