More than 330 thousand zlotys for activities supporting the academic community

Eight NGOs received a total of 338 thousand zlotys from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for activities supporting the academic community. The awarded funds will be used, among others, to support pro-innovative attitudes, increase legal awareness of students and doctoral students.
NGOs selected in the competition will carry out projects in the form of competitions, information campaigns, conferences, seminars, workshops and similar outreach activities. Selected organizations have to carry out their ideas by 30 November.
The winners include: Students\' Parliament of the Republic of Poland; Collegium Civitas Foundation (FCC), Polish Society of Anti-Discrimination Law (PTPA) and TUS Foundation; Polish Business and Innovation Centers Association in Poland; Association of Critical Education; the Foundation for Enterprise Development; Lublin Science and Technology Park; Foundation for the Development of Science and Entrepreneurship in the area of Medical Sciences and Sciences.
Funded projects include: promoting the website "Wybierz Studia" ("Choose Studies") - promoting informed educational choices in higher education; efforts to develop academic community cooperation with enterprises, with a particular on explaining and defining the concept of "innovation" and creating pro-innovation attitudes among students and doctoral students preparing to enter the labour market; efforts to comply with the law in the area of science and higher education - including sentry activities and increasing legal awareness of students and doctoral students; information and training addressed to graduate students concerning the possibilities of obtaining funds for humanities research.
The winners were selected in the competition "Organizing and animating activities for the academic community". In total, for the implementation of their activities they have received 338 thousand zlotys.
