Applying foreign researchers must hold a doctor\'s degree or have at least four years of research experience in full-time employment. "We need to attract scientists who conduct research at the highest level. The program will also benefit the Poles who work at foreign universities and wish to return to Poland. We often hear about them wanting to return, but it is accompanied by a concern for their scientific careers - emphasized Minister of Science Prof. Lena Kolarska-Bobińska. - We want to provide the best conditions for scientists to conduct research. Building a social and intellectual capital is the driving force of innovative Polish economy."

Ministry of Science also finalises the work on a program of internationalisation of Polish universities. In the last three years, the number of foreign students in Poland has been growing significantly. Currently there are 46,000 foreigners studying in our country.
