Launch of the mentoring program for women - Tech Leaders
Women who are IT professionals or who are just starting in the industry can participate in the mentoring program Tech Leaders. The third edition of the program will run from November 2017 to the end of March 2018.
Each participant will work with one selected mentor during individual mentoring sessions. The frequency and type of meetings (online/offline) is determined by both parties. The participant chooses her mentor based on the mentor\'s profile and in relation to the sphere in which she wishes to develop. The program will last four months.
"Any girl or woman can participate in Tech Leaders. We do not have age or location barriers. We value enthusiasm, desire to learn and develop. The program is designed for women of varying degrees of advancement, from those who put their first steps in IT to advanced professional" - said Ewelina Wołoszyn, Tech Leaders organizer.
Mentors include experts in computer programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence, quantum physics, user experience, marketing, public relations, sales, business planning and development, startup financing, commercialisation of research, team management.
"Tech Leaders is a sensational four-month adventure, during which each participant has the opportunity to spread her wings in the field of her choice. She chooses the issues that will be addressed" - said Anna Szwiec, Tech Leaders organizer.
The idea behind the mentoring program is to create a free space to share knowledge and develop opportunities in professional life, using the support of experienced mentors.
Tech Leaders is organised by the community Women in Technology. International partners include Women Techmakers, Google Developers.
The event is free, the number of available places is limited; participants will be selected from the submitted applications. To participate in the event, candidates should fill in the application available at http://techleaders.eu from October 30th to November 15th.
Over 100 participants from all over the world participated in the previous editions.
