Cyberwatch and Unity are two IT projects by students of the University of Gdansk awarded in the international 2016 Association for Information Systems Student Chapter Competition. The competition was hosted by the Indiana University in the United States.

The projects awarded in the international 2016 Association for Information Systems Student Chapter Competition have been prepared by students of Informatic Applications in Business (AiB) at the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdansk.

The project named Cyberwatch was developed by a team composed of Kamil Wojewski, Damian Kisielewski, Maciej Kwapiński, Szymon Nagórski and Hubert Kisielewski. The project took third place in the competition "IBM Bright ICT Bluemix Competition". Cyberwatch was also distinguished as the most effective solution using the IBM Bluemix cloud platform.

Cyberwatch system is used to identify the acts of online cyberbullying, such as pejorative social communication, broadcasting false information, stalking and forcing undesirable behaviour. Multilingualism makes the solutions universal.

The second project in the competition, Unity developed by Piotr Malecki, was distinguished as applying in the IBM Bluemix cloud platform in the most innovative manner. The application allows to search the Internet for positive and negative opinions about people and organizations.

"The application enables continuous monitoring of assessment structure by returning information, such as the ratio of positive to negative opinions in a given period of time, ratio changes and trend formation. The proposed solution is designed for continuous monitoring of the reputation of a person or organization\'s image and, thanks to detailed data, allows for quick contact with publishing persons to rectify the posted comments" - said the author of the project.
