The Kozminski University and the Warsaw School of Economics are among the top 100 European business schools published by the Financial Times. The Kozminski University is 43rd, the highest place of all universities in Central and Eastern Europe; the Warsaw School of Economics took the 71st place.

The FT European Business School Rankings is a composite ranking based on the combined performance of Europe’s leading schools across the main rankings of programmes published earlier by the FT: MBA, executive MBA, Masters in Management (MiM). It is based on the data on universities from anonymous surveys completed by graduates three years after graduation. Aspects taken into account include career advancement and salary weighted by the purchasing power of money.

Schools from Western Europe open the ranking: London Business School, HEC Paris and Insead. The best ones educate students mainly at specialist MA courses and full-time MBA courses. They also open campuses outside their country of origin, in exotic but promising locations such as China, Japan, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.

In the following places are: the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland); Iese Business School (Spain/USA); Università Bocconi (Italy); IMD Business School (Switzerland); Essec Business School (France); Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands); University of Oxford (UK). The French ESCP Europe, ranked 11th, has six campuses in European countries, including its partner university in Poland (the Kozminski University).

The FT ranking shows that universities in Central and Eastern Europe are catching up with the old EU, although their representation among the best business schools is still small. Russia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia have only one such university each, Poland has two.

The Kozminski University was ranked 43rd, the Warsaw School of Economics was 71st. "I can confirm that thanks to the Kozminski University`s high positions in the FT ranking for many years, we have more and more international students from 70 countries. Currently, every fourth bachelor`s or master`s degree student is a foreigner" - says Prof. Witold Bielecki, rector of the Kozminski University.

The ranking is available on the website.
